Jeff Kenniston is a multi-instrumental performer, recording artist, and certified Professional Music Educator in the State of Connecticut (#049 Grades PK-12) holding a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University, and a masters in Instructional Technology from the University of Saint Joseph.
Jeff has a combined 16 years of prior teaching experience including private instruction, ensemble coaching, and teaching Guitar, Modern Band,Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Drumline, and Music Technology classes with Hartford Public Schools. Jeff’s students have gone on to be featured in Broadway and touring productions, passed college entrance auditions, become career musicians and songwriters, and received CMEA Regional and All-State honors.
As a songwriter, Jeff’s work has been licensed for use by many notable entities including CBS,NASCAR, and The Travel Channel, and he continues to write and produce music under his own name. Jeff also maintains an active performance schedule, appearing at venues across Connecticut and beyond as a solo artist, and additional freelance work with regional bands and solo artists.
Jeff’s mission at Fox Hill School of Music is to better the lives of his students through inspired, tailored growth coaching at each step of their musical journey.
