Mr. DeDominicis earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and three years of Music Education Studies from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA where he studied voice and pedagogy under Mary Lynn Ritchey, Peter Hart and Maureen Connors. While attending college, Mr. DeDominicis assistant conducted the college choir and served as president of the Chamber choir. He was a section leader and soloist at South Congregational First Baptist Church under the direction of Richard Coffey, from 2007-2016 where he also directed a children’s choir. From 2010 till 2012 he was a member of the Hartford Chorale. Additionally, Mr. DeDominicis held a professional singing position with CONCORA; (Connecticut’s Premier
Professional Choir) for several years. Singing jazz standards with his grandfather’s band are just some of the leisure singing he partakes in .
Mr. Dedominicis has extensive teaching experience having held a 17 year tenure instructing private voice and piano lessons at Summit Studios in Manchester, Connecticut where he also directed ‘Simply Sonority’, a women’s vocal chamber choir from 2011-2015. His love for music education also brings his talents to Mabelle B. Avery Middle School in Somers, CT where he is currently a vocal coach. Mr. DeDominicis is very grateful and much looking forward to continuing his love for teaching at Fox Hill where he will be offering private lessons on voice & piano, a music theory course and a choir! As a music educator, advocation for vocal health is a priority for all of his students. His family, fiancé, and spending time outdoors are the most important parts of his life that keep his soul fulfilled.
