Joe Pagliaruli holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University. Joe began playing instruments at a young age, first learning piano then saxophone in 4th grade. As a performer at CCSU, Joe played in the Wind Ensemble as well as the Big Band and Jazz Combo, performing with the Big Band at the Villanova Jazz Festival. More recently, Joe has been subbing in the saxophone sections of several big bands, playing various saxophones in the process (Alto, Tenor, Bari), while playing Flute and Clarinet on the Bandstand as well.
As a teacher, Joe has instructed students of a wide variety of ability levels and ages. He believes that the needs of each student are different as no one student will be the same as another. With some positivity and practice, anyone can be a musician and have a little fun along the way!
