Tony Uriano is a dedicated music educator and versatile performer committed to his students’ individual growth. He recently graduated from Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) with dual degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Music where he studied voice under Dr. Margaret Astrup, and a Bachelor of Business Administration. This background allows him to bring a highly organized but deeply engaging approach to his instruction.
An active stage performer, Tony has taken on lead roles with the WCSU Opera Department, including Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus and Baron De Pictordu in Cendrillon, alongside featured scene performances as Marcello in La Bohème and Figaro in Le Nozze Di Figaro. He has also served as a Section Leader and soloist at Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church and had the distinct honor of performing at Carnegie Hall with the WCSU University Singers.
With over four years of professional teaching experience at programs like Bach to Rock and School of Rock, Tony instructs private voice, piano, and guitar. He focuses on core music fundamentals and tailors his curriculum to fit each student’s unique learning style, skill level, and both personal interests and goals.
Tony is thrilled to join Fox Hill and help students build confidence and foster a lifelong love of music. Outside the studio, Tony is an Eagle Scout and member of Manchester BSA Troop 25, and can usually be found spending time with his two younger sisters, or playing almost any kind of board, card, or video game.
