Dr. Matthew Bilik is an avid pianist, composer, and teacher always eager to make music with those in the community. He is currently a music professor at The University of Connecticut, having recently taught at The Ohio State University after graduating in 2022 with a PhD in music theory (with a related field in composition) at the University of North Texas. He has also completed degrees in music education (piano concentration) and music theory at Indiana University. Dr. B has a broad background in education, having taught K-12 (band, choir, and orchestra) and college music. His music education degree provides him with practical knowledge for teaching all levels and ages, as his goal is to help students realize their potential by giving them the tools they need to be successful. In his free time, Dr. B loves songwriting, performing on piano, and biking around the Glastonbury area!
